EXCLUSIVE: Lifetime Responds to R.Kelly Threatening To Sue Over ‘Surviving R.Kelly’ Docu
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, Lifetime is responding to reports that R.Kelly is allegedly threatening to sue over their upcoming ‘Surviving R.Kelly’ documentary. A network source tell us,
Lifetime has always been a brand that champions women’s stories. The documentary will air as scheduled, starting tonight at 9pm ET/PT.
Has previously reported, R. Kelly has announced his intentions on taking legal action against the Lifetime network if they air the docu.
Toda, Thursday (Jan. 3), is the slated date for the premiere of the three part series where alleged victims and women from his inner circle are coming forward with their allegations about being involved with the alleged sex cult leader/R&B singer – for the first time.

Kelly’s lawyer Brian Nix has issued a statement regarding airing, claiming how he plans to file a federal lawsuit if the network airs the highly anticipated series. According to reports, Kelly says he has audio records detailing how producers of the series knew,
some the girls [were], but the budget was too high to turn back now.
