Cardi B has some celebrating of her own to do. She recently took home the trophy for “Hip Hop Artist of the Year” at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. She told the audience that discouragement from haters has only motivated her to do better. She said:
“I gotta thank my haters, you know what I’m saying? Because y’all be saying mean things and y’all be thinking those mean things is gonna discourage me. But that just makes me go harder, because if everybody give me compliments, then, you know, I get comfortable! So you actually make me go harder. So thank you!”
She topped the speech off with a tongue wagging “Okurrr!” Classic Cardi!
"Thank you so much to all my fans, to all my supporters and to all my haters"
