Wendy Williams Is Selling Home She Shared W/ Ex Kevin Hunter
Wendy Williams is taking the next step in her split with Kevin Hunter. The Livingston, NJ home they shared together is up for sale.
Williams listed the home Thursday and is selling it for $1.895 million. They purchased the home in 2009, a decade after it was built.
The home is 5,700 square feet with five bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. It also touts a fireplace, office, court, gourmet kitchen, private master suite (that includes a jacuzzi tub, private sitting room, and steam shower).
Williams filed for divorce from Hunter in April, amid rumors that he had a mistress for more than 10 years. The woman, Sharina Hudson, allegedly had a child with Hunter shortly before Williams filed.
Williams has been open about her split and said last month that there’s no hope she and Hunter will get back together. She made a stop by “The Karen Hunter Show” and said,
“No, don’t ask! No! Girl, no. Don’t ask. I know what you’re saying, but my family is good, and we’ll always be family.”
While she’s selling her home, she plans to keep her married last name Hunter, for their son, Kevin Hunter, Jr.
“No, my name is Wendy Hunter. That’s my son’s name and you can’t take away 20 [years] … Don’t make me cry.”
Hunter has also released a statement about the split.
“28 years ago I met an amazing woman: Wendy Williams. At the time, I didn’t realize that she would not only become my wife, but would also change the face of entertainment and the world. I have dedicated most of our lives to the business empire that is Wendy Williams Hunter, a person that I truly love and respect unconditionally. I am not proud of my recent actions and take full accountability and apologize to my wife, my family and her amazing fans. I am going through a time of self-reflection and am trying to right some wrongs.”
No matter what the outcome is or what the future holds, we are still The Hunter Family and I will continue to work with and fully support my wife in this business and through any and all obstacles she may face living her new life of sobriety, while I also work on mine. I ask that you please give me and my family privacy as we heal. Thank you.”
