Drake Inks Marijuana Deal With Canopy Growth
Drake is taking his talents to the marijuana industry!
He’s uniting with a popular Canadian company to produce and distribute marijuana products in Toronto. The agreement says that Drake will get 60% of the stake in a subsidiary of stock-market named Canopy Growth.
Drake’s venture, specifically called More Life Growth Co., is focused on
“wellness, discovery and overall personal growth with the hope of facilitating connections and shared experiences across the globe.”
He said in a statement,
“The opportunity to partner with a world-class company like Canopy Growth on a global scale is really exciting. The idea of being able to build something special in an industry that is ever-growing has been inspiring. More Life and More Blessing.”
Mark Zekulin, CEO of Canopy Growth also said,
“Drake’s perspective as a culture leader and entrepreneur combined with Canopy Growth’s breadth of cannabis knowledge will allow our new company to bring an unmatched cannabis experience to global markets.”
Drake’s stake in the company comes after Martha Stewart also took on an adviser role with Canopy to help create marijuana-based products for humans and animals.
Other artists like Jay-Z, Whoopi Goldberg and Snoop Dogg have also joined the marijuana industry here in the states.

It looks like this is the latest gift Drake has given himself amid his birthday celebration. The Grammy-Award winning rapper just turned 33 on Oct. 24 and appears to be living his best life.

He also bought a $500K heart-shaped ring for himself.
