On Friday (Oct. 2), fans were able to pre-order the album. She also released her new single, “Lie to Me” featuring rapper Lil Durk. In the song, she sings about a unique arrangement that works for her and her man. She doesn’t stress herself about his whereabouts because she’s too focused on making music. She knows that his flings don’t compare to what they have. This song will be included on Naija’s upcoming album.
Queen Naija has grown a massive following over the last couple of years. In January 2018, she self-released the song “Medicine”. She was an unsigned social media star at the time, but the song made a No. 45 debut on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week of April 10, 2018, a nearly-unheard-of achievement for an unsigned artist.
In June 2018, she released her second single, “Karma”, this time as a signed artist to Capitol Records. On its release date, the song reached #1 overall on the iTunes charts. With the success she has amassed over the past two years, It’s safe to say fans are definitely anticipating Queen Naija’s debut album.
