The CW’s ‘All American’ Getting A Spinoff, Will Be Set At An HBCU
Good news for fans of The CW’s breakout series All American. While fans wait for the highly anticipated third season premiere, new reports have announced that the teen sports drama landed a spinoff on the network.
Not much is known about the new show, but it has been confirmed that it will take off during season three of All American, and will follow Simone Hicks’ character (played by Geffri Maya) to college as she attends an HBCU.
All American viewers might remember Simone’s character when she made her debut early in the second season. She told Jordan (played by Michael Evans Behling) that he was the father of her unborn child and later admitted that she lied. Jordan and Simone were able to move forward together.

All American first debuted on The CW in 2018. It tells the story of Spencer James’ (Daniel Ezra) transfer as a star football player from Crenshaw to Beverly Hills under the direction of Coach Billy Baker (Taye Diggs).
The series’ third season was supposed to air this fall, but it was pushed back due to COVID-19.
It’s slated to return Monday Jan. 18th.
