Too $hort announced the group was working on an album just one month before their debut performance at the Triller boxing match back in April of this year.
Now the West Coast group has released their debut single entitled ‘Big Subwoofer.’
Although the song will not be on the group’s debut album, it is a part of the ‘Algorithm,’ a project spearheaded by Snoop Dogg, who was recently appointed a Senior Advisor at Def Jam Records. On ‘Algorithm,’ which will feature artists off Def Jam’s roster, Snoop Dogg said,
“My algorithm is going to give you a feeling, not a sound.”
The supergroup’s single comes a few weeks after Snoop Dogg was named a performer for the upcoming Super Bowl. The halftime show, which will take place on Feb. 13, 2022, in SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif, will also include Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar.
