Michael Jackson Will Return To The Stage As A Hologram, Tito Jackson Says

There could be a Jackson 5 concert coming soon to a venue near you.

Michael Jackson himself might be returning to the stage soon. Michael Jackson’s life will be coming to Broadway in Michael Jackson: The Musical on Feb. 1, 2022. Now, there have been conversations about an electronic hologram.

According to The Hype Magazine, Tito Jackson, 67, revealed that negotiations for a CGI version of Michael to take the stage in Las Vegas have already begun. He also added that, if they approved of the technology, the Jackson estate would be open to uncovering some unreleased tracks by Michael. According to Tito, there is still music left to be released because Michael was constantly recording prior to his passing. Of his younger brother’s possible return to the stage, Tito said:

“There’s been talk of that happening in Las Vegas. It’s just a case of getting it down and ensuring the technology is sufficient for what you want to get done. We need it to be able to do the moonwalk!”

The remaining members of The Jackson 5—Marlon Jackson, Tito Jackson, and Jackie Jackson–have been performing since Michael’s death in 2009. They recently performed at the Happy Days Festival in Esher, Surrey this past August. Their brother, Jermaine Jackson, has performed with them on and off. Baby brother Randy Jackson has completely removed himself from the group.

Michael Jackson toured for, what would become, his last time from September 1996 to October 1997. He traveled through Africa, Asia, Europe, Oceania, and North America for the HIStory world tour, which accompanied his 1995 album of the same name.

Michael was set for a concert residency–This Is It–which was expected to kick off in July 2009 and end in March 2010.  The farewell concerts were supposed to take place in London.

On June 25, 2009, Michael Jackson died of cardiac arrest in his Los Angeles home. He was 50-years-old.
