Young Dolph’s Suspected Murderer Makes Court Appearance For Violation Of Sex Offender Registration, Says He “Doesn’t Have Any Money For A Lawyer”
More details have recently surfaced surrounding the untimely murder of rapper Young Dolph.
According to reports, 23-year-old Justin Johnson, who is accused of fatally shooting Young Dolph, appeared in court again today (Feb. 7) to face a judge for violating his sex offender registration charge. While in court Johnson shared with the judge that he
“doesn’t have any money for a lawyer.”
The judge will appoint Johnson with a public defender for the violation charge. Reportedly, he is still without an attorney for the murder charge he’s facing due to his alleged involvement in Young Dolph’s murder.

As previously reported, on Nov. 17, Young Dolph was unfortunately gunned down in his hometown of Memphis Tennessee. According to initial reports, the ‘Case Closed’ rapper went into Makeda’s Butter Cookies shop around 1 p.m. when he was fatally shot by bullets coming from outside of the bakery. Young Dolph was 36 at the time of his passing.

Earlier this year, Johnson and another man maned Cornelius Smith, 32, were named as wanted suspects for their alleged involvement with Young Dolph’s murder. On Jan. 11 news broke that both men were in police custody.
