DaBaby – Shooting Reported At Rapper’s Home In Troutman, N.C. Leaves One Person Injured
It seems like DaBaby wasn’t joking when he rapped “We got AR’s, .45’s, nines, and the two-tone Lamborghini” in his song “Masterpiece.”
According to reports, an unnamed individual was shot Wednesday evening (April 14) while outside DaBaby’s, born Jonathan Kirk, $2.3 million home in Troutman, North Carolina. Reportedly, around 7:45 p.m. officers in Iredell County received a 911 call due to someone being shot near a football field on DaBaby’s property. Troutman Fire, Iredell County EMS, and Troutman Police all responded to the scene.

Initial reports of the shooting incident claim that the person who was shot had trespassed onto the property. They were taken to a local trauma center for treatment following the shooting. The identities of the shooter and victim have not been released at this time. According to a Troutman Police Department spokesperson, the shooting was an “isolated incident” and there is no further threat to the community. DaBaby has yet to speak on the situation.
