Wendy Williams Brother Discusses Her Current Health Issues, Says She Should Have Never Done Recent Interview In Her Current State & Claims She’s Denying Help From Her Family: She Is Not The Wendy We All Knew & It’s Very Sad

Wendy Williams brother, Tommy Williams is speaking out yet again.

With Wendy Williams making headlines week after week following the end of her hit talk show, The Wendy Williams Show, it appears her brother is speaking out and reflecting on his sister’s recent behavior.

During a recent video shared on his Youtube Channel, Tommy Williams spoke candidly about his sister and the concern he has for her. He begins by saying Wendy Williams isn’t the same Wendy that we all have come to know.

“I’m very supportive of wendy so I tried to keep things under wrapped in terms of her health. She is fighting, she is struggling. She is working her way back to being Wendy. No she is not the Wendy we all knew and it’s very sad. Very heart wrenching, very disappointing, and it’s very frustrating. “

Tommy says he wants to help but Wendy refuses help from her family members and is somewhat in denial of her current condition. He goes on to discuss Wendy Williams recent interview in which she talked about her departure from daytime television and the development of her podcast. She also spoke on her struggle with lymphedema, and even lifted up her foot to show the effects of the disease.

Tommy Williams says that he advised his sister to not do any interviews at the moment and that the TMZ interview spoke volumes to what she is dealing with and the current state of her health. He explained,

“Now that Wendy has spoken her truth, it’s not the content that is the truth, but the physical. The image, the sound, that’s her truth. That’s where she’s at, and I feel as though it’s time for me to be out here.”

Tommy goes on to say that while divorce is a very difficult thing, her divorce from Kevin Hunter isn’t the culprit of her current health struggles.

“That’s not the crux of the whole situation.. Her health is the situation..The fact that she needs to be away from people that are going to do her wrong. That’s the situation. the fact that family is all down here in South Florida and Wendy is up in New York by herself.”

Tommy says Wendy Williams is denying any help from him and other relatives and believes she is pushing him away. He explained,

” I want to be there badly, but I’m not brought in. It’s not because Wendy and I are not in a good space because we are, but mentally she’s not on board. Opposionally, she doesn’t want me near because she realizes that I’m there to help and I might have some validity to a lot of things I’m trying to push on her. So therefore, she pushes me away.”

Tommy Williams says he will continue to be vigilant and keep an eye on the reality of Wendy’s condition as well as protect her from people who are trying to use her and take advantage.

He shares that he knew something was going on with Wendy Williams when she addressed him on her show several times due to comments made on his Youtube channel. Says the Wendy he knows would have never done that. She would have totally ignored him and never put a spotlight on him. He explained,

“When she came out and rattled off all type of non sensible things, and challenged me…I knew she had some things going on. It wasn’t to this degree but it did throw a red flag up. That’s why I was quick to go ahead and apologize, quick to be concerned and quick to have her back.”
