Young Thug – Judge Issues Order To Protect Witnesses In Rapper’s Case After They Allegedly Receive Death Threats
Witnesses in Young Thug‘s controversial court case have been threatened, reports say.
On Wednesday, July 6, Judge Ural Glanville of Fulton County Superior Court put a mandate in place that now requires the defense attorneys to keep witnesses’ contact information concealed from their clients.
The order was issued after there were claims of receiving “numerous threats to kill or harm” witnesses by others in Young Thug‘s camp.

The Atlanta-based rap icon, whose real name is Jeffery Williams, was originally arrested on May 9 and indicted on charges of gang activity and violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. A conviction of the counts could lead to 20 years in prison.
Legal documents in Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ 28-person indictment suspect Thug’s YSL imprint of robbery, assault, and even murder.
“Pushin P” rapper Gunna and Yak Gotti were also included in the indictment.
