Nipsey Hussle – Sentencing Postponed For Man Convicted Of Killing Rapper
Sentencing for the man convicted of killing Grammy-winning rapper Nipsey Hussle has been postponed for the second time.
According to reports, Eric Ronald Holder Jr., 32, was originally scheduled to be sentenced on November 3, however, that has now been postponed to December 19.
In July, a Los Angeles County jury convicted Holder Jr. of first-degree murder in the killing of Nipsey Hussle (born Ermias Joseph Asghedom). Holder was also convicted of attempted voluntary manslaughter for injuring two bystanders in the incident, along with one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. A jury of nine women and three men deliberated for about six hours over two days before reaching the verdict.

As previously reported, West Coast rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed at 33 years old in the parking lot of his Los Angeles clothing store, The Marathon Clothing, in March 2019.
Deputy District Attorney John McKinney called the killing “cold-blooded” and “calculated,” saying that Holder had “quite a bit of time for premeditation and deliberation” before returning to the parking lot near Slauson Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard where the rapper was shot 10 to 11 times.
Hussle and Holder had allegedly known each other for years growing up as members of the Rollin’ 60s in South Los Angeles. The tragic shooting reportedly followed a conversation the two men had about rumors that Holder had been acting as an informant for authorities.
Eric Ronald Holder Jr faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
