Columbus Short Hit w/ Restraining Order For Allegedly Threatening His Neighbor

Columbus Short has allegedly been threatening his neighbor.

According to legal documents, Columbus Short’s neighbor claims the actor has a vendetta against him and he had to go to court to request protection. A Judge has approved the restraining order Columbus Short’s neighbor has requested after the actor allegedly threatened the man. The 40-year-old’s neighbor claims that the “Stomp The Yard” actor approached him last weekend and referred to himself as a killer while threatening to beat him up. The man also says his child was present during the altercation.

The neighbor told the court that Columbus grabbed his wrist and attempted to follow him into his home. A similar incident allegedly occurred two days after that. With all the information obtained it was enough for a judge to grant a temporary restraining order preventing the Missouri native from coming within 15 yards of his neighbor and his neighbor’s family.

In February it was reported that Columbus was charged with two misdemeanors for domestic violence for a dispute with his wife that turned physical. However, the “This Christmas” actor always denied the allegations, and last month it was announced that Columbus’s domestic violence case was dropped after prosecutors decided not to pursue charges. In a previous statement, Columbus said he caused harm to no one:

“They dismissed the case from what I was told because the prosecutor felt there was no wrongdoing.”
