Kanye West Skips Out On Deposition w/ Kim Kardashian’s Lawyers As He Continues to Drag Divorce Proceedings
Kanye West is in no hurry to romantically rid himself of Kim Kardashian for good.
Reports claim that the rapper/fashion designer skipped a scheduled deposition on Nov. 16, and he only has one more chance to make it up to everyone. Kanye West was scheduled to face questioning from Kim Kardashian’s lawyers, but for whatever reason, he never showed up. In accordance with the documents, the deposition will now take place on Nov. 29 at 9:30 a.m.
The trial has reportedly been set for Dec. 14.
Kim Kardashian first submitted her divorce petition over two years ago. The former lovers are now legally single after a judge’s ruling, but child custody and asset distribution remain a contentious matter. They share daughters North, 9, and Chicago, 4, and sons, Saint, 6, and Psalm, 3.

The Chicago rapper is on his sixth divorce lawyer in the case, this time getting assistance from the same attorney who represented Melinda Gates in her multi-billion dollar divorce battle with Bill Gates.
It appears Ye is still attempting to stay close to the mother of his four children, even though the two have now started dating other individuals. However, it was reported that Ye was finally taking steps to complete the divorce by filing a “declaration of disclosure,” which is required whenever a case is close to being resolved. Documents revealed that Kim also had received all of the rapper’s financial details.

News of Ye skipping out on the deposition comes as his ex Julia Fox said she dated him in an effort to get him off Kim‘s back.

The “Uncut Gems” actress claimed on TikTok that the rapper acted “normal” around her. She then expressed her love for the Kardashian family and recalled the time when they bought her clothes and sold them in their stores a decade ago when she had her own clothing line.
Julia Fox said,
“I’ve always had, you know, like a love for Kim especially, and like even Kourtney especially, like all of them pretty much. Like the big three, Khloé, Kim, Kourtney. Those are my girls.”

She continued,
“By the time me and [West] got together, it was like, he hadn’t been doing anything out there yet. The only thing he had done was change the name in the song and said, like, ‘Come back to me, Kimberly.'”
During the clip, Julia Fox claimed she stopped responding to the rapper, which resulted in him accusing her of having “bad text etiquette.” She explained,
“I was like, ‘Oh my God, Kanye’s yelling at me, like, what do I do?’ But then I had this thought, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, maybe I can get him off Kim’s case.’ Like, ‘Maybe I can distract him and just get him to like me.'”
Needless to say, Fox‘s efforts were not very successful.
