Elon Musk Aggressively Booed By Crowd Amid Dave Chappelle Comedy Show: It Sounds Like The People You Fired Are In The Audience [VIDEO]
Dave Chappelle’s fans made it clear that they are not here for Elon Musk!
On Sunday night (Dec. 11) a San Francisco crowd viciously booed Elon Musk after he was invited on stage by comedian Dave Chappelle. During the end of his set at Chase Center, Dave Chappelle said:
“Ladies and gentlemen, make some noise for the richest man in the world.”

A mixture of cheers and boos took place before the boos began to get louder as Elon Musk took the stage, pacing and waving, seemingly unsure of how to react to the negative reaction. The comedian continued:
“Cheers and boos, I see. Elon…”
The billionaire responded:
“Hey Dave.”
Chappelle joked:
“It sounds like some of the people you fired are in the audience.”
As previously reported, the Tesla founder recently purchased Twitter for $44 billion and has been in the hot seat ever since for changing aspects of the app and reportedly implementing unexpected layoffs.

Elon MuskTrying to make things less Awkward for the Twitter owner, Chappelle added:
“All these people who are booing, and I’m just pointing out the obvious, you have terrible seats.”
Footage from the event making its way online is a shock because phones weren’t allowed inside the stadium for the show, but at least one person snuck theirs in and caught the bizarre moment on camera. Chappelle, 49, continued:
“His whole business model is f*ck Earth, I’m leaving anyway. What kind of p*ssy they got up there? That’s what we’ll be doing.”
Moments later Musk said:
“Thanks for having me up on stage.”

Chappelle replied:
“The first comedy club on Mars….”
Laughs at the comedian’s jokes were drowned by boos anytime Musk tried to talk. Musk asked:
“Dave, what should I say?”
Chappelle said:
“Don’t say nothing. It’ll only spoil the moment. Do you hear that sound, Elon? That’s the sound of pending civil unrest. I can’t wait to see what store you decimate next, motherf*cker. You shut the f*ck up.”
Chappelle added:
“I wish everyone in this auditorium peace and the joy of feeling free and your pursuit of happiness. Amen.”
