Larsa Pippen Is Adamant That She & Marcus Jordan Are Just Friends, Claims She’s Unaware Of What Her Ex-Husband, Scottie, Thinks Of Their Friendship

Despite dating rumors that have been swirling for months, Larsa Pippen is standing by her claims that she and Marcus Jordan are just friends!

During a recent episode of Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, Larsa Pippen was grilled about her rumored fling with Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan. Making things a little more awkward, Marcus tagged along and was in the audience seemingly for moral support. When asked about their relationship status, Larsa claimed they are just friends and she’s unaware of what her ex-husband, Scottie Pippen thinks of their friendship.

Contrary to what people may believe, the Pippen and Jordan families were never close, according to Larsa. She explained,

“I think a lot of people think that our families were really close and intertwined, and they really weren’t. Like I never really knew Marcus, his mom–or them. I just recently met them like a couple years ago.”

She added,

“But we’re friends!”

As previously reported, Larsa, 48, and Marcus, 31, initially sparked dating rumors in September when they were spotted together at Zuma, a Japanese restaurant, in Miami. Since then, the duo has been seen hanging out and going to events together, including the Rolling Loud music festival.

The Real Housewives of Miami star and her ex-husband, retired NBA player Scottie Pippen, finalized their divorce in January 2022. They share four children: Scotty Jr., Preston, Justin, and Sophia.

Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan were teammates on the Chicago Bulls in the 1980s and 1990s. Although they once shared a close-knit relationship, the two later had a falling out, with Scottie revealing in his November 2021 biography Unguarded that he was “upset” with Michael Jordan for omitting his NBA history in The Last Dance. He also felt as though Michael had made him look bad.
