Ray J Officially Files To Dismiss Divorce From Wife Princess Love For The Third Time

It looks like Ray J and Princess Love are fighting to make their marriage work – for the third time.

According to court documents, Ray J filed to dismiss their divorce on Wednesday (Mar.1). Legal documents show that Ray J asked to dismiss the divorce he’d filed for in October 2021 in L.A. Superior Court. Reportedly, the decision was made “without prejudice,” meaning either party can still change their mind about the proceedings.

As you may recall, Ray J and Princess Love have had many ups and downs and several break-ups throughout the years. Princess was the first to request a divorce back in May 2020, however, two months later she asked for a dismissal. Ray J then filed for divorce in September 2020, asking for joint custody of their two children. He then decided to call off the divorce in March 2021 but filed again a few months later in October 2021.

Now, it looks like the pair are attempting to work things out.

This recent dismissal comes nearly two months after the “One Wish” singer publicly declared that he had reconciled with his wife. In an Instagram post, Ray J wrote in part:

“Had to get my wife back and start fresh. I love my family!! I’ll fight over and over for life for my family and kids!! – I’ll put it all on the line for my children to be happy and safe and close to me 24/7!!!”

During a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, the entrepreneur opened up about the work he’s done to improve his marriage.

When asked by show co-host Charlemagne Tha God what he did to repair his marriage, Ray J shared,

“Compromise. Communication. If you feel a certain way, express yourself about it. If you let it linger and then nobody knows and then it’s just an attitude in the air, what’s wrong?”

While speaking on what he’s compromised for the sake of his marriage, the R&B singer said,

“Just making sure I stay in communication all the time, listening more, going out more, spending time outside and inside. And really making my wife my close friend, and we roll together and we do everything as far as fun together. ‘Cause a lot of times dudes want to go hangout with their friends and have the fun.”

Princess and Ray J have been married for six years and share two children together, Epik Ray Norwood, 3, and Melody Love Norwood, 4.
