Tamika Scott Gives An Update On Where She Stands w/ Her Mother & LaTocha Scott + Says She Didn’t Press Charges For The Stolen Royalty Money Because She ‘Didn’t Want To See’ Her Sister ‘Go To Jail’

Tamika Scott’s family issues live to see another day. 

In a recent interview on Andy Cohen’s talk show “Watch What Happens Live,” Tamika Scott gave an update surrounding the ongoing issues she’s been having with her sister LaTocha Scott.

As you may recall, LaTocha Scott and her husband allegedly stole $30,000 in royalty money from Tamika. In the latest episode of the sisters’ reality series — “SWV & XSCAPE: The Queens of R&B” — the ladies of Xscape brought more accusations against LaTocha Scott’s husband — Rocky Bivens — and accused him of getting “kickback” payments from promoters that they were unaware of.

When asked by Andy Cohen about her sister’s reaction to the news, Tamika Scott said,

“I kinda figured she would react the way she do cause when things come out about her husband she’s like a deer in headlights.”

During the sit down with Andy Cohen, Tamika also revealed that “there’s no doubt” in her mind that her sister and Rocky Bivens took her $30,000. The large payout was sent to the feuding sister’s mother’s home – where LaTocha Scott and her husband were living when the checks were mailed to the residence.

According to Tamika, her mother had no idea LaTocha was stealing from her. The 47-year-old said:

“I don’t think my mom knew what was going on but once I found out I told my mom so everyone is much aware of what happened, when it happened.”

She added:

“It was almost as if she was upset with me because I brought it to the forefront.”

On Mar. 29, Tamika shared an 18-minute YouTube video addressing her sister’s claims that she’s lying about being robbed of her royalty payment. During the video, she displayed many receipts, pointing the finger at her sister and Rocky Bivens for taking her earned funds. 

While chatting with Andy she noted,

“Before even filming the show we did, I called, I was trying to sit down with her, trying to talk to her about a lot of things, but she didn’t want to talk with me.”

Tamika also alleged that she hasn’t spoken to her sister since she published her YouTube video. She added that LaTocha has changed her number. 

“My mom told me that she can’t give me her number because she needs her peace.”

When Cohen wondered why the singer hasn’t pressed charges against LaTocha, 49, she admitted:

“I didn’t wanna see my sister go to jail.”
