T.J. Holmes & Amy Robach Want To Get Engaged Following Affair Scandal, Source Claims ‘They’re In A Good Place’
It looks like T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are thinking about taking the next step in their relationship.
It appears former “GMA3” co-anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are still going strong and ready to make things official. An insider recently shared,
“They’re in a good place. They’re moving on from all the negative around the affair and looking toward the future together.”
The source added that Robach and Holmes “are very happy and laying low” months after going public.
They continued,
“Now the plan is they do want to move in together and get engaged.”

The couple made headlines in November 2022 when their off-air romance became public knowledge. At the time, they were both married to other people. Holmes filed for divorce from immigration lawyer Marilee Fiebig, whom he married in March 2010. The ex-lovers share a 10-year-old daughter.

As for Robach‘s love life, she married Melrose Place star Andrew Shue in 2010. The former couple — who don’t share any children together — listed their New York City apartment for sale in September. Their divorce was finalized in March, according to reports. Robach has two children from her first marriage. Both anchors have reportedly claimed they were separated from their spouses before they started dating.
Their marriages weren’t the only thing affected by the affair and their careers took a major hit as well. After news of their controversial relationship broke, ABC temporarily removed the former co-anchors, citing the allegations as a “distraction.” Ultimately, after a months-long investigation, ABC decided to part ways with Holmes and Robach.

A company spokesperson said in a statement,
“After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News. We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions.”
According to the insider, the pair are still looking for their next project after their exit from GMA3.
“They are still getting paid severance by ABC. So, they’re in no rush to get another show. But they’re still pitching shows and would like to work together.”
However, back in March, it was reported that several TV networks turned down Holmes and Robach as they pitched around their own daytime talk show. Reportedly, many networks are “steering clear” of the media personalities altogether.
