Michael Jordan’s Son Marcus Settles Lawsuit Over Reported $150K Credit Card Debt
Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan, has reportedly worked out a payment plan after allegedly failing to pay his 6-figure credit card bill.
According to RadarOnline, American Express sued Marcus Jordan and his company, The Trophy Room, for an outstanding balance in December 2022. In the lawsuit, Amex said the NBA legend’s son received a Business Platinum Card in 2016. The financial service company claimed that he initially made all his payments on time, however, he stopped paying on the card last year.

As a result of Marcus Jordan’s missed payments, Amex requested that he be ordered to pay off his past-due balance of $157k. However, in March, he reportedly reached a settlement with the company.
According to the agreement, Marcus will pay his credit card debt in $10k installments until the entire bill is fully taken care of. After coming to an agreement, the case was dismissed as Amex dropped all accusations against Marcus.

It’s reported that the 32-year-old stopped making payments on his credit card bill around the same time he was first spotted out with his now-girlfriend, reality TV star Larsa Pippen, 49. The pair made things official earlier this year after denying they were more than friends.

Despite Michael Jordan disapproving of their relationship, Marcus has expressed his wishes to marry the “Real Housewives of Miami” star with his father by his side. Larsa Pippen is the ex-wife of Scottie Pippen, who played with Michael Jordan for years on the Chicago Bulls.
Marcus previously shared,
“Yeah you know, look, I was the best man at his wedding and the best man at my brother’s wedding, and so obviously, we’ll keep that tradition going is my thoughts on it.”
