Beyoncé’s Father Mathew Knowles’ Memoir ‘Racism From The Eyes Of A Child’ To Be Adapted Into Film, TV Series
Mathew Knowles is ready to share his story on the big and small screen.
Mathew Knowles, the famous father of megastars Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, wants to display his tough childhood experiences growing up in Alabama in a big way. The mastermind behind Beyoncé’s former group “Destiny’s Child” reportedly shares in his 2017 memoir “Racism From the Eyes of a Child” that his upbringing was riddled with discrimination, race riots, and protests. In addition to Knowles’ childhood, the memoir covers how his parents and historical figures like Martin Luther King Jr. and Albert Turner helped shape his early manhood.
The businessman recently spoke about his influences and said,
“These are the men who made me proud and women who taught me to fight back.”

According to reports, the film will cover the first half of Knowles’ memoir, where he recounts the struggles of being only one of six black students in an all-white school, among other hurdles he faced.
Mathew Knowles partnered with production company Say Unkel Entertainment to turn his book into a film and limited series. Reportedly, the feature script has already been completed and is all set to push around to potential networks.
