Gabrielle Union Reacts To News That Regina Hall Will Star In Film Alongside Leonardo DiCaprio & Sean Penn: ‘Run Her All Of Her Things!’
Regina Hall has scored another major role to add to her resume!
According to reports, the D.C. native will appear in a film alongside actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn. At this time the name of the project has yet to be revealed but reports claim production is set to start sometime this year in California. The logline is also being kept secret but the movie will reportedly have a contemporary setting. The film was written by Paul Thomas Anderson, who will serve as the director as well.

Regina Hall
News of the upcoming movie dropped today (Jan. 10), and already the praises for Regina Hall are pouring in. Fellow actress Gabrielle Union took to her X account (formerly Twitter) and congratulated Regina Hall on the role while shining a light on how talented her friend truly is. She wrote,
“I was once at a meeting of some of the most powerful actresses in Hollywood. Data was presented of the 10 most BANKABLE actresses working. #ReginaHall was #2. Interesting that the most bankable list wasn’t (surprise) exactly the same as the highest paid actress data that was presented. She is/was/ and forever will be THAT GIRL!! Run her ALL of her things!! #ProudFriendTweet”

Others reacted to the news as well, with one fan writing,
“YES!! We love to see it! These are the kind of roles and projects someone as good as Regina Hall has BEEN deserving of!”

Someone else expressed,
“PAY HER! And Ms. Bassett’s recent speech from her award set her alignment with TPH n every black woman in the industry. Ms. Hall better demand IT ALL!!!!”
