NBA Vet Dwyane Wade’s Son Zaire Wade Arrested On Felony Domestic V*olence Charge After Woman Allegedly Found Injured
Dwyane Wade’s eldest son, Zaire Wade, is facing serious legal trouble after being arrested in Burbank, California, on allegations tied to a domestic v*olence incident.
According to reports, the 24-year-old basketball player was taken into custody Sunday, June 21, after police responded to a home around 5:30 a.m. following a 911 call about a woman screaming. When officers arrived, they reportedly found Zaire and a woman who had lacerations on her face and body. Paramedics evaluated the woman, but she was not transported to a hospital.
Zaire was booked on suspicion of felony domestic v*olence, criminal thr*ats, and false imprisonment. An emergency protective order was also issued. A Burbank Police Department arrest log states he was arrested in connection with domestic v*olence, criminal thr*ats, false imprisonment, and attempted m*rder, though the listed charges include felony domestic v*olence, criminal threats, and false imprisonment.
Zaire posted $50,000 bond and was released that day. The case is expected to be reviewed by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. He has not been convicted.
Zaire played at Sierra Canyon before turning pro, with stops in the G League and overseas.
