Looks like TVOne has another hit on their hands. With only one episode in, R&B Divas L.A may potentially be a force to be reckoned with, as it became the most watched program to date this year in the networks history. The show highlights cast members Kelly Price, Chante Moore, Lil Mo, Claudette Ortiz, Michel’le, and Dawn Robinson as they work together on an upcoming project while balancing their personal and professional lives. Network president and CEO, Alfred Liggins stated about the show’s success:
The interest in R&B Divas LA has been overwhelming. The journey these six women take over the course of this season, and their willingness to share it with TV One’s viewers, has been incredible. We are enormously pleased our audience has responded so enthusiastically.
The Los Angeles based show ranked #2 to Atlanta’s season one premiere in 2012 and held the same spot in adult households ages 25-54. Cast members Lil Mo and Chante Moore, along with the shows executive producer, expressed their excitement via Twitter:
