Michael Ealy Calls Fatherhood ‘The Best Gift Ever’ [VIDEO]
I’ve never tried to be evasive in an attempt to be duplicitous and deceive people into thinking I’m somehow available. So for me, and I think I told you that the last time I was here, I’ve been private since high school… I learned in high school that once people find out about you and so-and-so, then it becomes like high-school. That terminology means people start acting like their in high school. And Hollywood is a lot like high school. So what I’ve done is just carried that through my life. Basically in order to protect something that I love and cherish and want to hold on to and not end up on ‘hot topics’….
Ealy on his new television role:
There was probably about five months in between the show, “Almost Human” being cancelled and getting the call for “The Following.” And you know for me it was just a great opportunity to go from being A.I. — you know, artificial intelligence — in one show to a serial killer. .. “I play a guy named Theo, and Theo is kind of a chameleon in that he takes on different identities and personas in order to fulfill his blood lust.
