Gabrielle Union Pens New Book “We’re Gonna Need More Wine”
Gabrielle Union can add author to her list of accomplishments. Union, who is the star and an executive producer of BET’s hit show Being Mary Jane (now in its fourth season) will be publishing her first book “We’re Going To Need More Wine: Stories That Are Funny, Complicated, and True” in October. The book will be in an essay format and feature personal reflections and stories on sexuality, womanhood, friendship, race, marriage, and beauty. She explains,
Throughout my life, I’ve often wondered aloud ‘How the hell did I end up here? Why me?’ Not sure I’ve ever found all the answers to those questions, but in this book I share my journey … the good, the bad, and the WTF. You will definitely need more wine for this one.
Earlier this month, retailer New York & Company, Inc announced its partnership with the actress, to be the face of the Company’s 7th Avenue Design Studio beginning this April. Her own namesake collection, exclusive to New York & Company, will launch in August. In March, she also launched a haircare line “Flawless By Gabrielle Union” aimed at women with textured hair, now availiable in Ulta nationwide and online.
