Tina Turner Says Final Goodbye To Son Who Committed Suicide: This Is My Saddest Moment As A Mother
Tina Turner is saying her final goodbye to her son, Craig Turner, laying his ashes to rest. The 78-year-old singer put her son’s ashes off the coast of California. Sharing a photo of her saying farewell she captioned the image:
My saddest moment as a mother. On Thursday, July 19, 2018, I said my final goodbye to my son, Craig Raymond Turner, when I gathered with family and friends to scatter his ashes off the coast of California. He was fifty-nine when he died so tragically, but he will always be my baby.
Earlier this month, Craig died of apparent suicide. He was the singer’s oldest son, who she had when she was 18 with saxophonist Raymond Hill. Craig was adopted by Ike Turner after they married in 1962. He was 59.
Reportedly, police found him dead of an apparent gunshot wound inside his home in Studio City, California. Craig was in the real estate business.
