Colin Kaepernick Seemingly Denies Reports He Came To A ‘Mutual Respect’ w/ Travis Scott To Perform At Super Bowl

In certain circumstances, retweets on Twitter can help express what your mind is thinking, but unable to say. Colin Kaepernick is utilizing the retweet feature when it comes to denouncing reports which claim Super Bowl halftime performer Travis Scott consulted with Kaepernick before confirming to perform on February 3rd.

Kaepernick retweeted one message from radio personality Ebro Darden who quote tweeted the report stating Scott and Kaepernick had a phone discussion and came to a mutual respect and understanding for each other’s differences.

Darden slammed the tweet,

Kap did not approve this bullsh*t! Get the f*ck outta here…

While in another he added,

Ya’ll not really understanding the machine…

A journalist also inquired about the report,

So you’re trying to tell ME that Kaepernick, a man that has been Blackballed by the NFL, costing him his career, for protesting against police terrorism, gave the green light to .@TrvisXX, a man that insinuated that Mike Brown was at fault in his death, to partner with the NFL?

While Kaep’s girlfriend Nessa Diab wrote,

There is NO mutual respect and there is NO understanding for anyone working against @Kaepernick7 PERIOD. #StopLying

Kaepernick retweeted all the aforementioned tweets in response to reports claiming Scott and Kaep had a “mutual understanding” over him performing with Maroon 5 and Big Boi during the Super Bowl LIII halftime show.
