After weeks of practically dominating the public’s attention, Jordyn Woods finally sat down to tell her side of the story involving the cheating scandal between her and basketball player Tristan Thompson. Woods sat down with family friend Jada Pinkett Smith on her Facebook talk show Red Table Talk to discuss what happened that fateful night at Thompson’s house.

Woods opens the interview by describing the scene for the hookup between her and Thompson. She said that she and a few friends left a nightclub and proceeded to a house party, when in route she found out it was Thompson’s house and didn’t think anything was wrong with it because she felt is was “a safe environment.”

She also admitted that she never thought that it was wrong for her to be at Thompson’s house:

“I’m not thinking, I shouldn’t be here…and that’s my first step where I went wrong. And how I would feel, if someone close to me is hanging out at my ex’s house or the father of my child, I wouldn’t, I didn’t, think about that. That’s the first part of the problem. The first step is, I should have gone home after the party. I shouldn’t have even been there.”

Woods discussed how much she had to drink at Thompson’s party:

“I can’t point fingers. And I can’t say, ‘you did this or you did that’ because I allowed myself to be in that position. I allowed myself to be there. I never was belligerently drunk to where I can’t remember what happened. I was never blackout drunk, I was drunk. I was not tipsy, I was drunk. But, I was not beyond the point of recollection.”

She then revealed what happened the next morning, when she says Thompson kissed her as she was leaving:

“On the way out, he did kiss me. It was just, no passion, no nothing, he just kissed me. It was like a kiss on the lips, no tongue kiss, no making out, nothing. And I don’t think that he’s wrong either because I allowed myself to be in that position. And when alcohol is involved, people make dumb moves, people get caught up in the moment.”

On whether or not she’s a homewrecker, Woods stated:

“I’m no homewrecker. I would never try to wreck someone’s home. And someone who has a beautiful daughter. I never would try to steal someone’s man. I don’t need your situation. I just really hurt so many more people by not telling the truth.”

She also admitted that she initially lied to Khloe Kardashian when she asked what happened at Thompson’s party because she was trying to put it out of her mind and protect Kardashian’s heart from further hurt.

Woods is so confident in her version of events that she’s willing to take a lie-detector test:

“Attach me to a lie-detector, whatever it is. I need people to know the truth. And more importantly, I need the people involved to know the truth.”

She ended the interview to address whether she’s spoken to Kardashian since the scandal:

“I have spoke with her. I let her know that I’m willing to do whatever it takes for her peace of mind. Not for my image, not for my career…this is for your own peace of mind, so you know that there was no malicious intent. I’m willing to take full responsibility. I’m not asking you to like me. I’m not asking you to forgive me overnight.”
