Jemele Hill & Fiancé Pay Tribute To Beyoncé & Jay Z In Engagement Shoot [VIDEO]
Sports journalist Jemele Hill got engaged to her fiancé Ian Wallace back in December 2018 and at the time there were some emotional, candid snapshots taken of the special moment—but now she’s stepped things up by paying tribute to Beyoncé and Jay Z in a new photo shoot.

Jemele Hill and Ian Wallace decided to cap off their recent engagement courtesy of a photoshoot recreating the “ApeS**t” video from Beyoncé and Jay Z. The couple recently hosted an engagement weekend in their Detroit hometown with family and friends, with the engagement photos serving as the icing on the cake. The photos were also shot inside the Detroit Institute of the Arts.

Posting the photoshoot on Twitter, Hill had this to say:
“So me and the fiancé decided to do something different for our engagement photo shoot. Just know this: When you commit, COMMIT. Enjoy. Thank you @mytouchweddings for making this happen. Shout-out to Jay Z and Beyoncé for being them.”

At the time of her engagement, Hill gushed about the new chapter of her life:
“I’ve called this my year of transition. I left a job, started a new job, moved to a new city and now … I’m engaged to the love of my life. I’m overjoyed and immensely blessed.”

Congrats to Jemele and Ian!
