Donald Trump Calls Out Sweden For Not Releasing A$AP Rocky ‘Sweden Has Let Our African American Community Down’
President Donald Trump has used one of its latest Twitter rants to defend A$AP Rocky and come for Sweden.
The rapper was charged with assault in Sweden Thursday after allegedly beating a man in the street. He’s been held in jail in the foreign country for roughly three weeks. He’ll also have to stay in there through his trial, which begins on July 30. He has little to no chance at getting out on bail considering the country doesn’t have a bail system. If found guilty, he could get up to two years.

And Trump isn’t happy about any of it. He took to Twitter to express that. He even sided with A$AP Rocky and said footage of the incident proves that he’s innocent and was provoked.
“Very disappointed in Prime Minister Stefan Löfven for being unable to act. Sweden has let our African American Community down in the United States. I watched the tapes of A$AP Rocky, and he was being followed and harassed by troublemakers. Treat Americans fairly! #FreeRocky“
“Give A$AP Rocky his FREEDOM. We do so much for Sweden but it doesn’t seem to work the other way around. Sweden should focus on its real crime problem! #FreeRocky“

“The Swedish judicial system is completely independent and does not take into consideration outside pressure from politicians or others.”
