Donald Trump Says Elijah Cummings’ Baltimore District Is ‘The Worst In The USA’ And ‘Disgusting, Rat And Rodent Infested Mess’

Is there anyone President Donald Trump won’t come for? In his latest Twitter attack, Trump insulted Baltimore Representative, Elijah Cummings. 

After Cummings questioned children’s conditions at Border Patrol, Trump called out Cummings and not only said his district is the worst in the nation but suggested that funds are being stolen and called for an investigation.

“Rep, Elijah Cummings has been a brutal bully, shouting and screaming at the great men & women of color of Border Patrol about conditions at the Southern Border, when actually his Baltimore district is FAR WORSE and more dangerous. His district is considered the Worst in the USA…”

He then claimed the border is in great conditions while calling Cummings’ district,

“a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess.”

He also suggested funds were being stolen from the district and called for an investigation.

“Why is so much money sent to the Elijah Cummings district when it is considered the worst run and most dangerous anywhere in the United States. No human being would want to live there. Where is all this money going? How much is stolen? Investigate this corrupt mess immediately!”

He went on to share a video of Cummings’ “very badly run district”.

That’s not all. He went on to add that Cummings has

“milked Baltimore dry.”

Monday morning, he clearly took issue with Rev. Al Sharpton’s visit to Baltimore after Trump’s tweets.

“I have known Al for 25 years. Went to fights with him & Don King, always got along well. He “loved Trump!” He would ask me for favors often. Al is a con man, a troublemaker, always looking for a score. Just doing his thing. Must have intimidated Comcast/NBC. Hates Whites & Cops!”

Other politicians also jumped to Cummings’ defense.

One of the first was Baltimore mayor Bernard C. “Jack” Young. 

“It’s completely unacceptable for the political leader of our country to denigrate a vibrant American City like Baltimore, and so viciously attack U.S. Representative Elijah Cummings a patriot and a hero. Mr. Trump’s rhetoric is hurtful and dangerous to the people he’s sworn to represent. As the Mayor of Baltimore, I won’t stand for anyone, not even the alleged leader of the Free World, attacking our great City or our representative to Congress. Mr. Trump, you are a disappointment to the people of Baltimore, our country, and to the world.”

CNN’s Victor Blackwell also got emotional about Trump’s comments.

President Trump tweeted that Rep. Elijah Cummings’ district is a “rodent infested mess” where “no human being would want to live.”

Maryland Senator  Chris Van Hollen jumped to Cummings’ defense as well.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi applauded Cummings as a “champion.”

Trump responded and denied the tweets being racist, accusing Democrats of playing the race card.
