Chance the Rapper: I Don’t Want To Kill Myself & I’m Not Ashamed I Love My Wife
Chance the Rapper isn’t allowing social media opinions to wipe the smile from his face. The 26-year-old just released his debut album, “The Big Day,” and is fresh off his wedding to longtime girlfriend, Kirsten Corley. The happy couple are expecting their second baby this fall!
In fact, his latest project is based on his relationship with Kirsten – which has been met with mixed reviews on social media. A video is circulating the internet of a fan imitating Chance’s voice and subject matter.

He addressed the hate with his Twitter followers:
“I’m getting this crazy feeling that people want me to kill myself.”
An internet troll immediately encouraged Chance to follow through with it, to which he replied:
“I can’t”
He assured fans that he isn’t in a suicidal mindframe:
“I just want to reiterate that I don’t want to kill myself, nor am I ashamed of loving my wife. I think I just wanted to say out loud that I see the vibes.”
Chance the Rapper refuses to lose sight of the happiness his family brings him. He tweeted the following along with a short video of footage of he and Kirsten’s wedding and reception:
“I seen joy before”
