Comedian Kevin Hart is on the road to recovery after a brutal Labor Day weekend car accident – but sources say the road will be long. In the wee hours of Sunday morning, (9/1/19) the “Night School” star, along with his wife, Eniko Hart‘s, personal trainer – Rebecca Broxterman – and her fiance, Jared Black were taking a joyride in Kevin’s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda in Malibu, when it fell into an embankment off Mulholland Highway.

Investigators say no alcohol or drugs were involved, but excessive speed may have been the cause of the accident. Sources add that Kevin Hart is recovering from emergency back surgery following the accident, and able to walk with a walker. Reportedly, the father of three is expected to be released from a California hospital by the end of the week, followed by months of physical therapy and doctor’s appointments.
