In addition, the special promises to provide an “intimate” look at the creation of The Gift, which features guests like Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, Jay-Z, co-star Childish Gambino and an impressive roster of African musicians.
In a previous sit down, Beyoncé explained her motivation behind the soundtrack to the live-action remake, telling ABC:
“This soundtrack is a love letter to Africa and I wanted to make sure we found the best talent from Africa, and not just use some of the sounds and did my interpretation of it.”

“I wanted it to be authentic to what is beautiful about the music in Africa. Incredible new sounds mixed with some of the producers from America.”
