Lena Waithe Allegedly Dating & Living With “Harriet” Actress Cynthia Erivo, Amidst Lena’s Split From Wife

New rumored details have surfaced surrounding Lena Waithe’s split from Alana Mayo. The pair released a statement earlier today (Jan. 23rd) announcing that they had ended their marriage. While the neither women have detailed why their ending their union, there are reports that the Chi executive producer was unfaithful. And now, there are reports that Lena Waithe is being romantically linked to a Hollywood actress.

According to Bossip, Lena is allegedly dating “Harriet” actress Cynthia Erivo. In fact, they allegedly live together.

Lena and Cynthia have hit attended red carpet events together. In 2018, Cynthia posted a sweet message about her friendship to Lena writing:

I finally found my sis. Lena you are absolutely everything. You are perfection. What a meeting of minds, glad to have you in my life! Stuck like glue !!! SHINE QUEEN SHINE!!

They also attended the MET Gala together, posing in a group shot with other A-list actors.

The two dated for three years before secretly tying the knot. Lena Waithe revealed they were married in November.

Waithe proposed to Alana Mayo in Tokyo on Thanksgiving Day in 2017.

Waithe also revealed that she was the first woman Alana Mayo had ever been with.

She told Wendy Williams: 

“My wife had never been with a woman before me.”
