Rosario Dawson Says Dating Politician Cory Booker Is “Scary”: I’m A Wild Person

Rosario Dawson is smitten as can be with her boyfriend – former Presidential candidate, Senator Cory Booker. So much so that she previously compared their love affair to that of a superhero in September:

“I feel like I’m dating Captain America, I mean he’s just such an amazing, brilliant, kind, empathetic, beautiful, loving human being — Cory — and then this character has that as his sort of face. They could not be more different characters.”

But, it’s not all peaches and cream when your man sets out to be the ruler of the Free World. Rosario recently stated that dating a politician is “scary:”

“I could be asked to serve my country, and that’s scary to me because I’m a wild person.”

However, the 40-year-old actress insists that their love is stronger than her fears. She looks forward to their future together despite their busy schedules:

“Every morning that we don’t wake up together, he sends me a song, which means every morning he holds our relationship in his mind and his heart for a few minutes before he goes off into his big day. I feel a lot of life ahead of us. It’s been beautiful feeling nurtured and taken care of. I’ve never been this close to someone. We make sure we connect. That’s something I’ve taken for granted in the past.”

Rosario Dawson continued:

“We are excited about what we can create together.”

The two went public with their relationship in March 2019.
