J. Lo + A. Rod Indefinitely Postpone Their Summer Wedding in Italy Due To Coronavirus Pandemic
This summer, Lopez and Rodriguez were supposed to be tying the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Italy but due to health and safety concerns, a source claimed that the pair had alerted their guests to the postponement of the wedding ceremony. The source also says that it was not easy for the couple to make this choice but they
“felt postponing the wedding was the safest and smartest choice.”
The two have talked recently about having to put their wedding on the backburner. Jennifer Lopez was an at-home guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and confirmed their plans had in fact changed:
“We are just kind of in a holding pattern like the rest of the world. So, again, it’s just something we have to wait and see in a few months how this all pans out.”
Alex Rodriguez appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in April and also made confirming statements. The former Yankees all-star said,
“We have to go with the flow now. Everything is fluid. Everything’s been put on just a pause and see where the world takes it.”
