J. Lo + A. Rod Indefinitely Postpone Their Summer Wedding in Italy Due To Coronavirus Pandemic

Singer, dancer, and actress Jennifer Lopez has reportedly had to postpone her summer wedding to fiancee former New York Yankees shortstop Alex Rodriguez due to the coronavirus pandemic. The pair announced via social media in March 2019 that they had gotten engaged just a little over two years after they began dating!

This summer, Lopez and Rodriguez were supposed to be tying the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Italy but due to health and safety concerns, a source claimed that the pair had alerted their guests to the postponement of the wedding ceremony. The source also says that it was not easy for the couple to make this choice but they

“felt postponing the wedding was the safest and smartest choice.”

They still plan to have “the wedding of their dreams” at some point in the future.

The two have talked recently about having to put their wedding on the backburner. Jennifer Lopez was an at-home guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and confirmed their plans had in fact changed:

“We are just kind of in a holding pattern like the rest of the world. So, again, it’s just something we have to wait and see in a few months how this all pans out.”
