J.Lo Is ‘Heartbroken’ Her & Alex Rodriguez’s Wedding Is Postponed Indefinitely

Nationwide many couples had to put their wedding plans on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic and pop star J.Lo is no exception. J.Lo (real name Jennifer Lopez) began dating her now-fiance, former Yankee’s player Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez, in 2017 and the pair announced their engagement in March of last year.

According to reports, the couple initially planned to tie the knot abroad this summer while in Italy. However, last month the  “If You Had My Love” singer was an at-home-guest for The Ellen Degeneres Show and she briefly shared how their plans had changed due to the virus.

Now, J.Lo is offering even more insight into her postponed wedding day. Recently she shared with the “TODAY” show that she’s still unsure when the nuptials will take place.

“Nobody knows because, really, there’s no planning right now. You just have to kind of wait and see how this all plays out, and it’s disappointing on one level. You know, after the Super Bowl and after ‘World of Dance,’ after we finished filming it, I planned to take time off. Which is what we’re doing kind of right now, but at the same time, you know, we had a lot of plans for this summer and this year. But everything’s kind of on hold right now.”

She continued: 

“I’m a little heartbroken because we did have some great plans.”
