Lil Twist Says He Took Weed Charge For Justin Bieber & Was Pressured To Take Blame For Singers Legal Troubles: It Became Overwhelming
Rapper Lil Twist truly grew up hip-hop as his latest role in WeTV’s “Growing Up Hip Hop” reality show suggests, but that didn’t always come with perks. In a recent podcast interview, Lil Twist revealed that he was often asked to take responsibility for Justin Bieber‘s mistakes – especially if they could land the then-squeaky-clean pop star in legal trouble. He says this about their friendship:
If they would have put weed charges on Justin in his early career, it would have been bad on him. So I got a call one day saying, ‘Twist, do you really love this kid?’ I said, ‘Yes.’ They said, ‘Cool, if you love him then you can take the heat for him because you can come off a little weed charge. You’re associated with Lil Wayne. You’re a rapper.'”
He continued:
“It got to a point where I didn’t even have to be there at times and they were putting it, ‘Twist did it, Twist did it, Twist did it.,’ It became overwhelming.”
Lil Twist’s revelation comes shortly after Justin acknowledged that he owes his career to his Black mentors and influences in the music industry.

Yikes! What do you think about Lil Twist’s allegations? Let us know in the comments.
