Diddy Kisses Kim Porter In Throwback Photo As He Reminisces About Her: Cherish What You Have

The two-year anniversary of Kim Porter’s tragic and untimely passing is approaching as her ex and father of three of her children, Sean “Diddy” Combs was in a reflective mood Sunday (July 19). He shared a photo of the two kissing and embracing one another on his Instagram. He added the caption,

“Cherish what you have. Love on them. Kiss on them. Hug on them. Spoil them. Listen to them. Because tomorrow is not promised. A message from Love… Have a beautiful Sunday people.”

The pair was together off and on from 1994 to 2007 and shared three biological kids together, twin girls D’Lila Star and Jesse James, and son Christian aka King Combs. Diddy is also a father figure for Kim Porter’s son Quincy Brown from her previous relationship with R&B singer Al B. Sure.

Kim Porter passed away on Nov. 15, 2018 at the age of 47 from lobar pneumonia, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. Since her passing, Diddy has made sure that her memory lives on with very heartfelt tribute posts as well as portraits and even sculptures.

On what would’ve been Kim’s 49th birthday (Dec. 15, 2019), Diddy shared an adoring heartfelt tribute video full of throwback clips on Instagram, sharing special family moments. Diddy captioned it:

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY KIM…Words can’t explain how much we miss you but today is your birthday. We’re celebrating you today! We love and we miss you!!!!!”

Diddy showed fellow rapper Fat Joe a monument in his home that was made in Kim’s honor. He told Fat Joe,

“This is a special announcement and PSA to all, to all the playas all the playboys, when you find that one don’t be playing around with it because it’s rare somebody that is gonna understand you and be there for you unconditionally. Sometimes you could be in the game getting hot, you just want to experience everything. I definitely as a man feel like I f***ed up on that. I feel like she was the one for me and I played around thinking that I’m running things, god is running things. He changed me as a man to be able to appreciate love.”
