Tyler Perry Pretends To Lose Connection When Asked About Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Living In His L.A. Mansion [WATCH]

Tyler Perry’s lips are sealed!

During an interview with Gayle King on CBS This Morning,  Tyler Perry jokingly avoided a question pertaining to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle staying at his Beverly Hills mansion.

Gayle King asked,

“It’s been widely reported that Meghan and Harry are living at your place in Los Angeles, can you tell us how they’re doing?”

Tyler Perry’s response?  He simply acted like he lost connection in order to avoid answering the question.

“I… I’m sorry I think I just lost you… I just lost you Gayle, I’m sorry we have a really bad connection. I think I lost Gayle King, guys. We lost her. We lost you”

He couldn’t help but laugh in the clip. See it below at the 9:24 mark.

Since moving to Los Angeles, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly been staying at Tyler Perry’s $18 million home in Beverly Hills. According to reports, Tyler Perry’s eight-bedroom, 12-bathroom Tuscan-style villa sits on 22 acres on the top of a hill in the ultra-exclusive Beverly Ridge Estates guard-gated community, offering sweeping views of the city from the backyard.

It is unclear whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are renting Tyler Perry’s home or staying there as guests, but there is apparently no record of the mansion having been sold.

The couple recently filed a lawsuit (July 23) in regards to drone photos that were taken of their young son, Archie in Los Angeles.  The suit was filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court by the couple’s attorney, Michael Kump of the Kinsella Weitzman Iser Kump & Aldisert law firm in Santa Monica, California.

The detailed 10-page complaint specifies Prince Harry‘s and Meghan Markle‘s issues are with the invasion of privacy in a general sense as well as the invasion of privacy through “intrusion upon seclusion.” The couple sued after

“the relentless and quite frankly shocking efforts of the tabloid media to profit from serial intrusions on the privacy of a 14-month-old child in his own home.”
