Kobe Bryant Memorabilia Found In Abandoned Storage Locker Has Been Returned To Vanessa Bryant By ‘Storage Wars’ Star
Congratulations are in order for Vanessa Bryant who was recently able to secure lost items of her late husband, Kobe Bryant, which were found in an abandoned storage locker. According to reports, an unnamed person recently purchased an abandoned storage locker for just $375. It turned out that the locker was filled with items that once belonged to basketball legend Kobe Bryant. The locker included: 35 pairs of shoes, jerseys, Lakers practice gear, a Lakers all-access badge that says, “Mamba,” tax documents, and more. A&E ‘Storage Wars’ star Rene Nezhoda purchased the Kobe Bryant memorabilia for roughly $13,000 and had an initial plan to auction the items off and make a huge profit.
However, according to reports, Vanessa Bryant learned about the auction and had her reps get in contact with Rene Nezhoda in hopes that the items could be returned to the Bryant family. Rene Nezhoda shared that everything worked out for both parties. He said,
“Everything has been worked out. A number of personal items, worn items, and paperwork were sold directly back to the Bryant family.”
Reports claim that the deal wasn’t about making money for Rene Nezhoda and was instead about getting the items back to Kobe’s loved ones. Rene Nezhoda was also able to keep some of the unworn Kobe Bryant items and is planning on selling those for profit. It remains unclear who owned the storage locker or how the items ended up there to begin with.
