Kanye West Celebrates Incorrect Kentucky Poll That Places Him Ahead Of Trump & Biden: Get The West Wing Ready!
Kanye West’s celebration of poll results in Kentucky was short-lived after Twitter flagged his tweet as being misleading.
Tuesday, Oct. 13 Kanye West sent out an update on his status of becoming the president, with what appeared to be election results in Kentucky. He posted a screenshot of percentages showing him in third place (19%) with more than 40,000 votes, ahead of Democratic candidate Joe Biden (14%), and current President Donald Trump (2%).
Kanye West showed a close up of the results while yelling:
“GET THE WEST WING READY !!! … this is how I felt when I saw that Kentucky pole result”

It seems as though Twitter discovered the tweet was false information and flagged it as “Manipulated Media.”
The update came from a local TV station Lex 18 News.

“The results were not valid. The were simply part of a test. We regret the discovery of the cached web link and have removed the data from that page. We apologize for any confusion.”

Lex 18 reporter, Nancy Cox, again apologized to the viewers and to Kanye.
“Despite what @kanyewest is tweeting, he is not leading the race for President in KY… Sorry viewers. Sorry Kanye.”
Kanye West also tweeted that there were people in his life who tried to tell him not to run for President.
“PEOLE TRIED TO TALK ME OUT OF RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT… NEVER LET WEAK CONTROLLING PEOPLE KILL YOUR SPIRIT”
