Donald Trump Tweets After Loosing To Joe Biden, ‘I WON THIS ELECTION, BY A LOT!’
Donald Trump Says, ‘I WON THIS ELECTION, BY A LOT!’ After Losing To Joe Biden
Donald Trump has insisted that he won the 2020 Presidential Election. Just before Joe Biden was declared the winner, Donald Trump took to Twitter on Saturday (Nov.7) and claimed he won the election. He wrote,
“I WON THIS ELECTION, BY A LOT!”
His tweet then prompted Twitter to put a label on his message, saying, “Official sources may not have called the race when this was Tweeted”. In a string of tweets, Donald Trump continued to question the integrity of the voting process. In one tweet he writes in all caps,
“THE OBSERVERS WERE NOT ALLOWED INTO THE COUNTING ROOMS. I WON THE ELECTION, GOT 71,000,000 LEGAL VOTES. BAD THINGS HAPPENED WHICH OUR OBSERVERS WERE NOT ALLOWED TO SEE. NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. MILLIONS OF MAIL-IN BALLOTS WERE SENT TO PEOPLE WHO NEVER ASKED FOR THEM!”
In a subsequent message, he adds that he received the most tweets than any other sitting President. He wrote,
“71,000,000 Legal Votes. The most EVER for a sitting President!”
Although Trump is correct about his record -breaking support of 71 million votes, it still was not higher than Joe Biden who received 74.5 million votes. Donald Trump and his campaign team have refused to concede the election. In a statement released today (Nov.7), Donald Trump and his team have threatened to take legal action claiming voter fraud has taken place in key states such as Pennsylvania.
As previously reported, Joe Biden was named the 46th President-Elect of the United States, alongside Kamala Harris as his Vice president. After breaking Barack Obama’s record with a national popular vote of more than 70 million and and 284 electoral votes, Joe Biden has been determined as the president for the next four years, according to Associated Press.
