Erykah Badu Says She Tested Positive For COVID-19 In One Nostril But Negative In The Other

Soulful singer, DJ, and midwife Erykah Badu announced on Twitter Friday (November 13th) that despite having no symptoms, she tested positive for coronavirus, but only in one part of her body. Erykah Badu first posted the following tweet:

“No symptoms. Was tested for COVID. Same machine. Left nostril positive. Right nostril negative. Maybe they need to call Swiss Beats so they can do a versus between them. Funny this is, Dr. ONLY reported the positive result. What the fack is going on here. Rapid Test. $$$$ smh.”

Erykah Badu then posted a tweet showing the official results where her paperwork clearly confirms the strange diagnosis.

The “Window Seat” singer continued to tweet and responded to fans about her COVID testing experience. Erykah‘s on set working on an unknown project and according to some of her tweets, it was required that everyone was tested for the coronavirus through the method of rapid testing. She added:

“I don’t feel bad at all . We have to take those routine COVID tests to work on set. I’m Gucci. But thanks.

I feel fine. Ain’t s**t wrong wit da kid.”

She continued:

“What an inconvenience to be tested positive than negative 3x after within 24 hours. Same test. We understand that they aren’t 100% accurate but this is strange.”
