Dionne Warwick Lashes Out At Wendy Williams, Accuses Her Of Making Malicious Comments About Her On Talk Show

Dionne Warwick, is appearing to take issue with talk show host Wendy Willams. Today (December 9th), the legendary singer fired off a few tweets, accusing Wendy Williams of speaking maliciously about her.

Dionne Warwick wrote:

“A friend alerted me that Wendy Williams was spending a lot of not nice time speaking on me. I tuned in to her show to catch the last few minutes of her speaking about me and as in the past she seems not to be able to speak without maliciously made comments,”

She continued,

“My hope is my name will refrain from being spoken or thought of by her as this conversation was held a few years ago letting her know there was nor would be any need for her to say the name Dionne Warwick for any reason. I don’t believe one has to be mean to get noticed.”

The comments that Dionne Warwick appear to be referring to, refer to Wendy Williams seemingly discussing Dionne’s social media presence and an alleged TSA incident that she had years ago. Wendy said on her talk show.

“Even though I’m not 79 like Dionne, she has haters because she’s gone on to be a Twitter person now. 

She’s never been involved in the Twittersphere.  She watched TV or she sings songs, or she reads books, or she socializes, or she moisturizes her hair, look at all the hair.  Or she’s brushing her teeth, she’s a beautiful woman.”

As Wendy continued, she added that she does not think that Dionne Warwick likes her.

“She doesn’t like me though, I know she doesn’t like me.”

She said that she is a friend to the show when she has something to promote.

“She’s a friend to the show, cuz she has something to promote, and we’re the social influencers and she’s smart. But once she gets off the show, you know she’s probably like, ‘B*tch.’ It’s okay Ms. Warwick, it’s okay.”

Wendy Williams continued, saying that she believes Dionne Warwick does do her own tweeting and referenced a story when Dionne was allegedly stopped by TSA for having marijuana. She said,

“I do believe that she’s doing her own tweeting, but I think that Brittany is her right hand. Like after aunt Dionne does what she wants, after midnight, maybe after some bud… Well you remember a few years ago, Aunt Dionne was stopped at the Miami Airport trying to get back to Jersey, and you know Jersey now has the bud”. 

“But Miami is Buddy-er.  Looks TSA stopped Aunt Dionne and opened up a lipstick tube and found 11 pre rolled joints. They got the dog on it, it was weed,”

“So you figure if that was 5 or 10 years ago, and she’s 79 now, 18 years ago… yeah she’s still…after midnight.. a little bud, a little chardonnay.”
