T.I. Calls Father/Daughter Time ‘Thot Prevention Hours’

T.I. has a unique stance on the time fathers spend with their daughters, sparking more controversy.

This time last year, he was facing similar criticism after he revealed he went to his daughter Deyjah Harris’s OB-GYN appointments with her to make sure she was still a virgin.

He said:

…We have yearly trips to the gynecologist to check her hymen. Yes I go with her. I go with her. So let me tell you, this one time we go, I think this might have been after her 16th birthday… and this is what we do. Right after the birthday we celebrate, usually like the day after the party, she’s enjoying her gifts, I put a sticky note on the door “Gyno tomorrow 9:30.””So we’ll go and sit down and the doctor will come and talk. And the doctor is maintaining a high level of professionalism. ‘Well you know sir, in order to share information…’ I say ‘Deyjah they want you to sign this so we can share information. Is there anything you wouldn’t want me to know? Okay. See doc, ain’t no problem.’”

Now, in a new episode of his ExpidiTIously podcast, he referred to father/daughter time as “thot prevention hours.”

Rapper 21 Savage served as a guest on the episode, and the two talked about fatherhood and raising daughters. He said he’s overprotective of his daughter and T.I. added:

“Cause sons can’t get pregnant.”

But 21 Savage added:

“I want her to know how to feel real love so she could know how to discern the difference.”

T.I. responded:

“Me and Lil Duval call it ‘thot prevention hours.’ You gotta put in them thot prevention hours, keep your daughter off the pole… So, you spending time going to daddy/daughter dances and you’re taking them on trips where it’s just you and her, those are thot prevention hours that you’re putting in.”

He continued:

“You got to do that! Your a** don’t do that, well her a** gon’ be somewhere in Magic City man…trying to figure it out.”
