A blueprint of the venue, obtained by TMZ, shows that the set will include two classic cars, two trucks, and plenty of props in between.
The set will also reportedly be as grand as a full-on concert with staging and lighting.
Apple is said to be footing the bill as Verzuz battles now air on the streaming app as well. The battle was initially supposed to take place at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Aple Campus, but was moved because of COVID-19 precautions.
Too Short told GQ of the upcoming production:
“I don’t wanna approach this like I’m trying to beat E-40. I’m approaching it like it’s me and E-40 versus the entire planet.”
